What are the differences between paper and e-vouchers? 

Paper vouchers are used like cash to pay childcarers who then redeem the vouchers through Sodexho Pass. These vouchers are delivered to parents on payday and are available in a number of denominations to suit individual circumstances.  E-vouchers work like an online bank account with parents holding individual accounts which are credited by employers on payday. Parents manage payments electronically directly into their carer's bank account.

Is there any difference in administering paper and e-vouchers? 

No. There is no extra administration involved in offering paper, e-vouchers or a combination of the two.

Can employees receive e-vouchers if they don't have access to the Internet or email? 

No. Employees must have access to the Internet and email to take e-vouchers. This is because payments are actioned through the e-voucher website and they are notified of payments via their email address.

What denominations do the paper vouchers come in? 

Like cash, Sodexho Pass childcare vouchers are available in a variety of denominations which enables payment to be made to more than one carer. If employees wish to specify the denominations of their paper vouchers they receive, they can contact our Customer Care team.

When will employees' vouchers arrive? 

The paper vouchers are despatched to arrive at employees' home addresses on payday. In the case of e-vouchers, e-voucher accounts are credited on payday.
