Epsom Downs racecourse hosts the world famous Vodafone Derby Festival where the best horses and jockeys compete on this unique racetrack. Ascot Racecourse is the home to Royal Ascot which takes place every year in mid-June and has been Britain's most historic and famous race meeting for almost 300 years, with attendances of over 310,000 people annually. However, it is far more than a race meeting and is deemed by many to be the definitive social event in the British summer calendar.

For the first time in 80 years, England will be opening its doors to a new racecourse at Great Leighs, situated on the former Essex County Showground, near Chelmsford. A superb hospitality village will initially focus around The De Boer 'Emperor' building, which formed a stunning backdrop to the 17th hole at the last Ryder Cup.

Other racecourses include Haydock Park, Newbury, Hamilton Park, Perth and Sandown Park all of which offer a racing experience unlike any other. Their stunning locations and fantastic hospitality facilities combine to create a theatrical atmosphere full of excitement and nail-biting finishes. Sandown Park recently opened the first Loch Fyne Seafood, Bar & Grill in the main grandstand, which is an exciting addition to the venue. This is the first of a number of potential joint ventures with Sodexo Prestige.

Football stadiums include Everton Football Club in Merseyside home of the successful premiership football team and AFC Bournemouth.
