16 Directors Table staff will provide all catering and hospitality at the private members club. The club offers a range of facilities for members and their guests including a cocktail bar, a large restaurant, a lounge area, and two private dining rooms. The club also has facilities to support functions including business meetings, wedding receptions or other special celebrations.
Directors Table principal chef Anton Edelmann will oversee the running of the kitchen at the club and will develop new menus which will be introduced in September. Last year Anton created menus and headed up the kitchen team at two sell-out gourmet evenings held at the club.
Club chairman, James Green said, "The club will remain the Potters' Club in all respects - we know how important the club's unique character is to our 1,250 members. The major change will be the new higher levels of cuisine and service. All current employees of the club will be employed by Directors Table and where necessary, will receive the highest quality professional training. In addition, Directors Table will appoint a general manager who will be responsible for all aspects of the services provided at the club. This general manager will work alongside David Clarke, in his new role as house manager. David has worked at the club for 34 years and will remain as the main interface between members and the club."
